What is Women's Health?
Women's health encompasses many different areas. The most obvious areas covered under this broad title are those dealing with reproduction. Menstruation, pregnancy, menopause, and any issue dealing with the organs of the female reproductive tract.

While the aforementioned issues may be the first ones that come to mind at the mention of "women's health," they are far from the only ones. Female sexuality is markedly different in many ways from male sexuality. Also, nearly every disease, even if it does not directly influence the female reproductive tract, present differently in women than in men. In addition to the "female" diseases such as osteoporosis and fibromyalgia, we also discuss heart disease and STDs.

Female cancers are, of course, of major concern to many women. We devote a great deal of attention to recognizing this concern and providing information for women about cancers that specifically occur in women. This includes detailed coverage questions relating to breast, uterine, and cervical cancers.
